Start to introduce you to the potty in a month and a bottle there, too. Slowly begin to shift outward, as when in his high chair, let the cup be your only option. Play different drinks as well as milk, water, juice, etc. That is a progressive (but useful) to change and will be fine. I think after a year that do not need a bottle so anyway.
